Human FGF-10 ELISA Kit

Details:

Product description

Human Fibroblast Growth Factor 10 (FGF-10), also known as Keratinocyte Growth Factor 2 (KGF-2), belongs to the FGF family and is a approximately 20 kDa protein with a region rich in serine near its N-terminus. It shares 93% and 96% amino acid sequence identity with mouse and rat FGF-10, respectively. FGF-10 is considered important during embryonic development and also plays a significant role in adipogenesis. FGF-10 is expressed in the pre-second heart field and, together with Fibroblast Growth Factor 8 (FGF-8), promotes the proliferation of cardiac progenitor cells forming the arterial pole of the heart.

The Arcegen Human FGF-10 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) Kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit used for quantitative determination of FGF-10 in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. Specific anti-FGF-10 antibodies are pre-coated onto high-affinity enzyme plates. Standards and samples are added to the wells of the enzyme plate, and after incubation, FGF-10 present in the sample binds to the solid-phase antibody. After washing to remove unbound substances, a detection antibody is added for binding and incubated, followed by washing, and then the enzyme complex (Streptavidin-HRP) is added for binding and incubated. After washing, a colorimetric substrateTMB is added for color development, avoiding light. The intensity of the color reaction is proportional to the concentration of FGF-10 in the sample. The reaction is terminated by adding a stop solution, and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm wavelength (with a reference wavelength of 570~630 nm).
